The Role

We currently have a great opportunity for a Senior IT Solutions Specialist  to join a small team who support, build and develop modern technology based solutions. 

The Senior IT Solutions specialist will support, manage, and develop Ravensbourne’s desktop and mobile computing devices and labs (Windows and Apple Mac) also its key desktop and enterprise software platforms.

The role will assist in the development of custom solutions using new and emergent technologies to empower and transform the organisations digital capabilities including digitisation of processes and workflow.

The Senior IT Solutions Specialist will be a senior engineering lead for Microsoft client devices and communications, implementing and maintaining operational aspects of the university’s Microsoft endpoint infrastructure, in alignment with architectural design and strategy, working collaboratively other members of the wider IT Services team.

The Candidate

You are ……

• Suitably qualified and / or experienced in the delivery of technical support in a medium / large organisation.
• Skilled and motivated with an enthusiasm to play a major part in contributing to projects that deliver high profile solutions for a variety of services .
• Have experience of effectively communicating information relating to IT projects.  
• Experienced in delivering and supporting services in a mixed Windows and Apple Mac environment.   
• Experienced in general Azure AD administration, Intune – especially administering devices, deploying applications and build management 
• Familiar with the operation, support and development of IT technology in an Education environment, although this is not essential.
• A great communicator with experience of providing face to face support to customers
