The School of Applied Sciences is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified individual to join our existing Science Extended Degree (SED) team. The aim is to provide teaching and learning support for students on our Science Extended Degree. This role is primarily focused on providing teaching and support in Biology.

As Academic Skills Tutor/Extended Degree Support, you will be involved in the delivery of course material, marking, assessment, administration, and pastoral support. This is a key support role which is focused on developing the students’ core academic skills in the requisite subject area.

A degree in a science or health-related subject or relevant teaching qualification is essential, as is experience of delivering teaching or providing support to teaching in Biology. Good organisational skills are also required as well as having the ability to work to tight deadlines.
