We are currently looking for two experienced Higher Scientists to join our Research & Development team in the Science, Research & Innovation group.

Within a week of working here, your day could look like this: performing a wide variety of laboratory techniques, generating Candidate Vaccine Viruses and performing genetic and antigenic characterization through a variety of molecular biology and serology techniques, and analysing and interpreting complex data sets.

The successful candidate will have a BSc degree in a relevant scientific discipline, experience and knowledge of safe working at biocontainment (CL3/CL4 experience is desirable), and practical experience in one or more of: mammalian and bacterial cell culture, virus propagation and titration, neutralisation assays, serological assays, or molecular biology techniques.
