The Epidemiology Group (www.abdn.ac.uk/epidemiology) runs the UK Antimicrobial Registry (UKAR; www.abdn.ac.uk/ukar).  Working with the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (BSAC; www.bsac.org.uk) the registry seeks to recruit patients in secondary care commencing certain antimicrobial agents, from hospitals in all four nations of the UK.

We are seeking to enhance the study coordination team with an appointment either at Grade 6 (study coordinator) or Grade 5 (assistant study coordinator).  The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Investigators, BSAC, and other members of the study team.  They may be required, occasionally, to work on other studies as part of the Epidemiology Group portfolio, but their primary responsibility will be to the UKAR.

The post is a full-time position (100%fte) and is funded until late 2026 in the first instance.

For the Assistant Study Coordinator, salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 5 scale,  £31,396 - £34,980 per annum, pro rata and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.

For the Study Coordinator, salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 6 scale,  £37,099 - £38,205 per annum, pro rata and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
