This post is full time and open ended (permanent).
We have an exciting opportunity for Deputy Head of Professional Services to provide professional support and administrative coordination aligned to the professional services resources and needs of the School. The post holder will support the senior management team and will play a lead role in the successful implementation and delivery of the School’s strategy, policies, and objectives, to fully achieve key University/College/School goals and deliver improvements evidenced by internal and external measures.
This post will deputise for the Head of Professional Services (HoPS) in the School of Molecular Biosciences in their absence and take on delegated tasks from both the Head of School and HoPS. This post will additionally lead the School’s Engagement, Web & Communications strategy, and School finance processes, reporting to the HoPS and Head of School.
Candidates should have knowledge of governance and business processes in a large complex organisation along with knowledge and understanding of the HE sector and potential challenges.
