The Reformed Episcopal Seminary was founded in 1877 for the purpose educating students for the ordained and lay ministry of the Anglican church. We are a seminary of the Reformed Episcopal Church and the Anglican Church in North America.
RES seeks to hire two lecturers in Scripture for the Fall 2024 term. The successful candidates will be expected to teach one-two courses per term on a contract basis. Both positions are for ONLINE (or in-person) teaching, and thus available to instructors from outside the region.
Specifically, we seek a sessional lecturer in Old Testament. Courses may include the OT Survey, Pentateuch, historical books, prophets, and Hebrew 1 & 2 depending on teaching interest and seminary need.
We also seek a sessional lecturer in New Testament. Courses for this postion may include the New Testament Survey, Gospels, Paul, the General Epistles, and Greek 1 & 2 depending on teaching interest and seminary need.
Candidates must hold a PhD or equivalent in the appropriate discipline.
