Lecturer, Information Technology

We are seeking to recruit IT Lecturers to support our new IT programme, developed in partnership with a top 100 UK university.

You will design and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops, providing our students with the tools and insights needed to navigate the complexities of the business world successfully.

Key Duties:

• Deliver dynamic lectures and facilitate stimulating discussions in Information Technology.
• Develop and refine course materials and lesson plans to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback in a timely manner.
• Contribute to curriculum development and assessment processes.
• Engage in departmental and faculty meetings to enhance academic standards and practices.
• Offer academic support and guidance to students, assisting them with academic and career aspirations.

Qualifications:

• PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject area
• Membership of Professional Bodies
• Teaching qualification (PGCHE/ PGCE)

Requirements:

• Experience in teaching and research in higher education
• Experience in UK academic environments
• Experience in leading and teaching modules in one or more of the following areas is required: Software Development, Computer Technologies, Web Design and Development, and Computing Mathematics.
• Relevant first degree and a master's qualification
• Recognized HE teaching qualification or commitment to achieving Advanced HE accreditation
