Here at the Cambridge University Development and Alumni Relations office, we are looking for our new Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the Talent Acquisition team, working with the Director of Talent Management and HR to support recruitment across Collegiate Cambridge.
The Talent Management programme at Cambridge is sector leading within the UK ¿ our objective is to ensure that the University of Cambridge and Colleges remain competitive and an employer of choice within the Higher Education philanthropy sector. The Talent Acquisition strategy for the recruitment of talented advancement professionals is a key component of this success.
As a senior member of the Talent Management team, you will be responsible for leading all recruitment activities and initiatives that ensure the Cambridge Development and Alumni Relations office and Colleges can recruit and retain talent within development and alumni relations roles and functions.
The Cambridge University Development and Alumni Relations office is the alumni relations and fundraising arm of the University. We are responsible for:
We work collaboratively with colleagues throughout Collegiate Cambridge, including our 31 colleges, Cambridge University Health Partners, and Cambridge in America, to promote positive relations with our alumni and supporters and generate philanthropic income.
The postholder will have a natural ability to build effective and strong relationships within Development & Alumni Relations and across Collegiate Cambridge, working thoughtfully and strategically. You will need an appreciation and understanding of advancement and the role it plays in an institution.
This role has been transformational, and we are looking for someone who can continue its impact for Collegiate Cambridge and those who work here in advancement. If you have a strong track record in executive search or talent acquisition, outstanding relationship development skills and the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively, we'd love to hear from you.
