About the role
The Bartlett School of Architecture is seeking to appoint a part-time Lecturer (Teaching) position on the MArch programme on a 0.26 FTE.
Key duties and responsibilities will be to deliver high-quality teaching across designated design modules, develop and deliver relevant teaching material, and, where relevant, ensure project compliance with current ARB/RIBA criteria. Additionally, to attend portfolio reviews, assessment panels, examination boards, staff away days and training. Lastly, to act responsibly ensuring they understand and comply with UCL rules and guidelines regarding all interactions with all UCL staff and students.
We are ideally looking for existing teaching partnerships with a proven design teaching record or new teaching partnerships where there is an existing design or research collaboration.

About you
The successful candidate will lead the delivery of studio instruction on architecture and building design at the highest level. They should provide proof of their experience instructing architecture to graduate students, with an emphasis on promoting innovative teaching strategies that have improved student learning. They should demonstrate understanding and / or knowledge of social and environmental justice and sustainability principles and their application to the design of buildings.
