We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Systems Specialist to join the Computing and Library Services Core IT Infrastructure team.
As Senior Network Systems Specialist, you will be working with colleagues, developing, maintaining and troubleshooting on premise and cloud-based systems and services. All aspects of your work must demonstrate rigor, quality, and attention to detail.
You will be able to demonstrate significant knowledge and experience of working with enterprise networking systems and applications within a complex multi-vendor environment, where service availability expectations are demanding and often pressurised.
Educated to degree level with relevant IT and Computing content or equivalent enterprise level network experience, you will also have or be working towards a professional networking qualification.
You will be able to work independently or as part of a team and, as required, lead project teams. You will also have the capability to adapt to new technologies easily and have the experience and creativity to develop these into solutions that contribute to continual service improvement.
We offer an excellent employment package including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on-campus working (dependent on work duties).
