About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Project Finance Officer with an interest and experience in academic research projects to provide financial management support to the Imperial-led “MusICC Consortium”. MusICC is a new $57M global vaccine development initiative co-funded by the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) and the EU Horizon Europe Programme.
This programme brings together international research institutions from Europe, USA and Australasia, industry and Contract Research Organisations (CROs) in a complex program designed to increase our understanding of immunity against coronaviruses, test next-generation vaccines and establish capacity in readiness for future outbreaks.
You will be required to provide efficient finance management support to the MusICC Consortium for the duration of the project, as well as to support the development of any new funding opportunities. The role will include managing the financial interface between the funder, key academic staff and Imperial supporting services, as well as external partners from the consortium.
This is a full-time post and is available for 3 years in the first instance with the possibility of extension.

Hybrid working may be considered for this role and the opportunity for hybrid working will be discussed at interview. Staff working in roles that are suitable for hybrid working will normally be expected to work 60% of their time onsite.
