This is an exciting role designed to support the progression of our degree apprentices on the Rural Enterprise and Land Management route, helping them monitor and maintain progress towards becoming qualified Chartered Surveyors.
This role will be based in the apprenticeships team but will work closely with the Apprenticeship Course Managers and tutors who teach on the course in the Food Land and Agri Business Management (FLAM) Department. Visits will be required to larger employers occasionally where there are large cohorts of apprentices.
You will be working closely with a caseload of apprentices and their employers across England and will support progression through the apprenticeship programme. This will include carrying out regular reviews via Teams, ensuring off the job training records are regularly updated and liaising with academic colleagues to make sure the apprentice and their employer are supported throughout the programme.
You will be able to work more flexibly and complete activities online, after initial training at the University. The role has been created for a 37-hour week, to fit around a targeted number of meetings with employers and apprentices to monitor programme against Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours on the apprenticeship standard, and support them to completion.
Your work will make a difference to apprentices and their employers experience of the programme and apprenticeships are growing in number each year at Harper Adams University. The new strategy for the university includes growth of apprenticeship programmes and you could be part of exciting new developments.
