The Role
We are currently seeking a suitably skilled and qualified individual to work within our Estates and campus department on a supply basis.
The Estates & Campus Services Officer (Supply) is required to provide cover for holidays and absence within the Estates & Campus Services team.
To take care of College buildings and grounds and to ensure that accommodation is fit for purpose and that the environment and facilities are conducive to work, study, teaching and learning.
To support the relocation of equipment and room preparation prior to room modifications and re-populating rooms on completion of work.
To manage access and car, motorcycle and cycle parking facilities for all users; to ensure compliance with legislation pertaining to smoking; to assist with behavioural management and conflict resolution; to act as first aider and fire marshal (including personal evacuation) in line with the college Fire Safety Management Plan.
Working Requirements
Flexibility to work irregular work pattern and potentially at short notice in order to cover holiday and absence.
Primary place of work will be 1 Inverness Campus however you may be required to work from any of UHI Inverness’s other premises.
Knowledge of buildings and grounds maintenance would be an advantage.
