We are seeking to appoint two Lecturers to join the Department of Psychology, and to contribute to teaching across our curriculum.
You will make a significant contribution to the research agenda and mission of the department. In this context, you should be capable of attracting funding from external grant agencies and contributing to the next REF at an appropriate level. You will already hold, or be about to complete, a PhD in Psychology and will use your research in teaching. This will enable students to learn from knowledgeable and well-qualified educators who are at the forefront of their subject area.
The University is deeply committed to equality and diversity for all its students and staff. We seek to be diverse and inclusive, supporting individuals and groups to fulfil their potential and nurture a sense of belonging. We strive to be an accessible, inclusive employer, removing barriers for all. Find out more about our approach to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, including our commitments and accreditations as a Disability Confident Employer, Stonewall Gold Award holder and Top 100 Employer, Athena SWAN Bronze Award holder and Race Equality Charter Bronze Award holder.
Informal enquiries are welcome and should be made to Dr Chris Bale, Acting Head of Psychology (email: c.bale@hud.ac.uk).
