About the role
Sussex Global Engagement is seeking a self-motivated Global Mobility Manager (Outbound) to manage the University’s outbound student abroad initiatives that play a key role in fostering the internationalisation of our students. This pivotal position offers a unique opportunity to manage a dedicated team of global student mobility professionals, promote and administer Sussex’s study abroad activities, and collaborate with various academic and professional units to ensure alignment of these activities to our strategic and operational objectives.
About you
You will be a professional with a first degree and/or significant experience in higher education or the international education sector. Your ability to think strategically and lead projects effectively will be crucial in this role. With excellent relationship management skills and a commitment to client service, you will excel in engaging diverse stakeholders. Strong communication abilities, both written and oral, are essential, as is the ability to work flexibly, including occasional international travel. Your role will require adeptness in administrative, financial and organisational tasks, underpinned by a strong foundation in IT and data-informed decision making.
