The Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre (ICNARC) is an independent, not-for-profit, scientific organisation. Our scientific work helps improve the quality of critical care through audit, research and education, conducted with, and in the interests of, patients and those who care for them.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation that pioneered the field of clinical audit and delivered high profile, national reporting on intensive care during the COVID-19 pandemic, and a Statistics team that is designing cutting-edge clinical trials to meaningfully inform clinical practice, employing Bayesian methods in adaptive and platform trial designs. We are looking for a Senior or Principal Statistician to provide statistical expertise in trial design and analysis in support of the delivery of our research portfolio through our UKCRC-registered Clinical Trials Unit and provide statistical support for our National Audit Programme (an umbrella of four national clinical audits managed by ICNARC). We are particularly keen to receive applications from statisticians with experience of Bayesian clinical trial design and methodological development, or development of interactive data dashboards.
Please note this role can be a Senior Statistician or Principal Statistician level.
