The University of Liverpool’s fundraising team, DART (Development and Alumni Relations Team) is growing, and we’d be delighted for you to join us. Don’t worry if you’ve never been a trust fundraiser before; we’re interested to hear from curious minds who enjoy writing, research, and want to work with some of the University of Liverpool’s brilliant academics to make a real difference to some big challenges.
Reporting to the Head of Trusts and Foundations, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the development of a trusts and foundations strategy to secure high 5-figure, 6-figure, and 7-figure+ gifts. You will identify and research potential funders and be supported in the preparation and submission of applications to a wide range of regional, national, and international funders capable of – and passionate about – supporting the University’s work. Fundable projects across the University are many and various, but you will be working on a varied portfolio comprising (but not limited to): children’s health; cancer research; climate science; humanitarian scholarships (for people with refugee status); anti-microbial resistance; public policy; materials science, and infectious diseases to name a few.

You should have a degree (or equivalent qualifications) or proven track record of relevant extensive work experience in a role with transferable skills and experience.
