- THE ROLE -
The post will be based at the University’s DLD campus. This post offers an opportunity to join a highly successful Law School, with a strong teaching culture, a growing international and comparative profile, and an extraordinary record of success in research (REF) assessment.
Candidates must have a first class or upper second class honours degree in Law (or a degree in which Law is a major component) and a doctorate, in law or a law-related field.
Experience of and proficiency in teaching and examining law at tertiary level is essential. Candidates will be required to cover core undergraduate teaching areas as required, to propose teaching in their own specialist area and to teach at postgraduate level. Academic administration experience, or demonstrated capacity for same, is required.
- ABOUT YOU -
- Contributing substantially to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching as per School requirements.
- Participation in relevant Subject, Course Committee, School Board and other meetings.
- Contributing to curriculum development.
- Undertaking administrative tasks related to curricula, courses and School operations as directed.
