Head of Change

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Strategic Change Team as Head of Change

We are looking for an outstanding operational leader who will be responsible for the University’s Strategic Change team, to support the University in growing its change capability at all levels.

You will guide the development and implementation of long-lasting changes that make a real difference to our University community through your multi-disciplinary team of project, change, communications and analytical professionals.

Through collaboration with team members, colleagues and partners you will provide tailored change, analysis and project support to equip our people with the capacity to embed long-lasting change that realises real value.

For this role you will:

• Have extensive knowledge of contemporary change management and project management practices and experience of applying these in complex organisations
• Be able to maintain high standards of delivery, providing strong leadership for a successful and impactful multidisciplinary team.
• Be relentlessly focussed on outcomes and will understand how to actively engage stakeholders around a compelling case for change rooted in understanding and addressing business need
• Be a confident facilitator and comfortable navigating complex governance structures.
• Demonstrate strong strategic leadership gained from working in a similar transformation environment
• Be able to effectively deputise for the Director of Strategic Change when necessary
• Have a proven understanding of business architecture and analysis with the ability to demonstrate this in support of prioritisation and decision making
