The post
The Faculty wishes to recruit a Postdoctoral Research Associate to support the work of Dr Zeyu Fu. The researchers will be based at the Department of Computer Science, part of the Faculty of Environment, Science and Economy, and will be associated to the Institute of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Exeter.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team to work on multimodal AI for video understanding. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in machine learning, multimodal data analysis, and video understanding applied to social media data.

About you
The successful applicant will be able to present information on research progress and outcomes, communicate complex information, orally, in writing and electronically and prepare proposals and applications to external bodies.
Applicants will possess a relevant PhD (or nearing completion) or possess an equivalent qualification/experience in a related field of study and be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within established research programmes.
