We are looking for an experienced and confident HR Advisor to join our team.
The role reports to the HR Business Partner and is responsible for providing professional advice and support to managers and employees within designated departments, encompassing both academic staff and professional services. Collaborating closely with HR colleagues, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive HR services.
As a generalist HR Advisor, you will provide accurate advice on policies, procedures, and best practices which include recruitment and changes to individual contracts, sickness absence management, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and confident HR professional who is positive and proactive with an excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels via various channels. You will have the ability to quickly build creditability as a trusted HR Advisor. Along with being highly organised, able to multi-task and prioritise the workload as necessary. You will have a methodical and logical approach to your workload, with a solution-focused mindset to meet stakeholder requirements and the ability to work to relevant deadlines. Your knowledge of employment legislation and best practice is key, and ideally, it will be supported by a CIPD qualification.
This role is eligible for hybrid working.
