The RNCM is looking for a creative, organised administrator with a passion for providing music opportunities for those in hard-to-reach areas to support and co-ordinate the RNCM Engage West Cumbria programme and provide administrative support for safeguarding processes across the RNCM.
With exceptional attention to detail, the RNCM Engage Co-ordinator will provide support for the RNCM Engage West Cumbria Programme Leader and the Impact and Evaluation Manager to ensure that all project work is efficiently organised and co-ordinated and support the delivery of a high-quality programme of activities that provides sustainable opportunities for music education for young people in West Cumbria.
Liaising with the RNCM West Cumbria team both at the RNCM and in Cumbria, the role-holder will employ excellent communication and organisational skills to ensure key information is disseminated, necessary data is collected, and logistics are in place to enable the programme of activities to operate smoothly.
The role-holder will process data, communicate with partners, which may include schools, organisations, and colleagues from Cumbria, and carry tasks related to delivery of activities within school contexts, such as process DBS checks.
In addition, the role-holder will provide administrative and co-ordination support to the Designated Safeguarding Lead, for safeguarding across RNCM Engage programmes and the wider College.
This role is based at the RNCM and is suitable for blended working. Although supporting the work in Cumbria, and there may be occasional visits, it is not expected that the role-holder will need to routinely travel to Cumbria for work.
This is a new role and is therefore currently vacant, with the opportunity for the role-holder to start as soon as they are able. The RNCM Engage West Cumbria programme is funded until 2028 and therefore the role is offered as a four-year fixed term contract.
