Student and Academic Services is a large professional services team that provides support to academic colleagues in delivering our education and to students in their success.
The Senior Quality Officer is a key role within the Quality Assurance team.The role involves managing the Quality Assurance administrator and providing effective administrative support for the University’s committees, external examining processes, and quality assurance activities.
Responsibilities include supporting the Head of Quality Assurance in developing, maintaining, reviewing, and implementing university policies and frameworks related to quality assurance, considering various regulatory and external requirements.
The position requires close collaboration with Brunel Pathway College (BPC) and Apprenticeship Hub to offer advice and oversight on quality assurance processes and policies and manage programme modifications and approvals. The post holder will be the primary contact for QA-related queries for BPC. The role also involves contributing to a range of quality assurance projects, staying informed on UK HE sector developments, preparing reports and analyses of institutional data, and supporting the development and enhancement of Quality Assurance documentation and web pages.
