Faculty / Directorate
The Directorate offers full-service marketing and communications support to the university, comprising brand and creative development; design and print services; corporate and student recruitment marketing campaigns; CRM and conversion campaigns; faculty marketing and recruitment; reputation management; media relations and public affairs; internal and external communications engagement; events; admissions, schools and colleges engagement; widening participation; enquiry management and follow up; web and digital development and market insight.
Role
This role is on a fixed term contract maternity cover post for up to 12 months, or upon the return of the post-holder, whichever is sooner. As an Admissions Manager you will support the management of key admissions activities, including selection events, confirmation and clearing and scholarship and bursary allocation, ensuring a high-quality customer focused administrative service and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Within your new role, you will be responsible to lead a team, manage key stakeholder relationships with our Faculties, International Office, Marketing & Communications teams and Partners. You will work flexibly to deliver a first-class student applicant experience.
Ideal Candidate
To be successful, you will have achieved a first degree or demonstrate you have equivalent experience, developed and implemented admissions policies and delivered multiple projects whilst managing staff within a customer services environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to liaise effectively with key stakeholders and deliver accurate information and reports. You should be adept at managing events and coordinating resources to cover peak periods within the admissions cycle. A commitment to continuous improvement, compliance with statutory requirements, and the ability to work flexibly, including outside core operating hours, are key attributes.
