We have an exciting opportunity in our dynamic Estates, Facilities, and Commercial Services (EFCS) department for a skilled Administrator. This role involves providing professional and detailed support to the department as part of a close-knit and collaborative team.
The role
In this position you will work in a team, serving as the single point of contact for all EFCS services, playing a key role in ensuring the successful operation of EFCS within the University. The team operates from 07:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday and the postholder must be available to work any shift within these hours and be flexible in covering colleagues’ absences. The role also requires occasional weekend work to support key University events, such as Welcome Weekend and Open Days - approximately 2-3 weekends per year.
About you

The ability to prioritize tasks, assess urgency, negotiate, influence, and interact with a diverse range of stakeholders are skills you will develop in this role.
The ability to communicate with people both from within and outside the University is a major part of this role and strong communication skills will add to the customers’ perceived quality of the service provided. Good levels of accuracy are required in carrying out the work of the department.
