Applications are invited for a temporary post of a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within the UCD School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering.
The RESR project, funded by SFI, aims to develop innovative, mobile, and scalable renewable energy storage solutions utilizing Ammonia-borane for hydrogen storage. This project includes technoeconomic analysis, life cycle assessment, and process simulation to ensure both economic feasibility and environmental sustainability, with a primary focus on evaluating different scenarios using Ammonia-borane. Leveraging extensive knowledge of thermodynamics and hydrogen-oriented energy systems, this interdisciplinary research provides opportunities for collaboration with leading experts to advance efficient and sustainable energy storage technologies.
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
