We are seeking to appoint two Skills Educators in Health and Social Care to contribute to our exciting new provision across health and social care, particularly our new foundation year programme. You will be part of a vibrant and diverse group of staff working across our School of Human and Health Sciences to support students to succeed in their studies and chosen fields.
With an honours degree (2.1 or above) or equivalent/higher qualification in a health and/or social care related subject area, you will have a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to complete this within 12 months of the appointment. As Skills Educator in Health and Social Care, you will have a good understanding of the general area around health and/or social care as well as adult education in this area or within the broader Higher Education sector. You will also have strong skills in communication and a passion to support students to achieve their full potential. This will enable students to learn from committed, knowledgeable and well-qualified educators who are at the forefront of their subject area.
