Applications are invited for an experienced PA to provide support to the Professor of Gastroenterology in the University Department of Medicine. The role holder will be responsible for the overall provision of administrative and PA support to the Professor and his research group. This is a wide-ranging role, which also includes helping organise conferences and seminars, and providing financial management and HR administration, therefore, experience of research grants administration, managing budgets and HR administration would be an advantage.
The role holder will have significant experience in a relevant administrative or secretarial/PA role and should be a self-motivated and organised person with excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, acting effectively on their own initiative and with a high level of attention to detail.
