Both full and part-time positions available An exciting opportunity for 2 positions has arisen to join the Registry team at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC). The RVC is the UK's largest and longest-established independent vet school and is a Member Institution of the University of London. The RVC offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing and biological sciences and CPD programmes in veterinary medicine and veterinary nursing.
Following an internal restructure, the Registry is developing the Examinations and Assessments team. We are seeking two Assessment and Regulations Officers to work with the Assessment and Regulations Manager to improve service delivery in our fast-paced office environment. Working within a team, this role is responsible for ensuring examination boards are run following correct procedures and regulations, providing effective administrative support and supporting coursework and assessment processes. The post holders will be a first point of contact with students in relation to coursework and assessment procedure and will ensure delivery of and adherence to standard operating procedures. These key roles within Registry will help ensure smooth running of examinations and assessment for the RVC.
The successful post holders will have the ability to deal effectively with a wide range of customers, have experience of ensuring compliance with policy and procedure and have experience of managing office systems to ensure robust record keeping. You will have experience of managing a complex schedule of activities, can use initiative to identify problems and offer appropriate solutions. A pro-active, flexible approach to your work is vital to deal with the competing demands and challenges of your daily work.
Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience, the successful post holders will have the ability to use initiative to take decisions, meet deadlines and achieve targets.
