Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Teaching Fellow in Biology & Environmental Science (Commencing 1st Sept. 2024) within the UCD School of Biology & Environmental Science.
The School of Biology and Environmental Science seeks to appoint a Teaching Fellow to support teaching in the broad area of Environmental Science and Sustainability in the School.
The School of Biology and Environmental Science offers a diverse portfolio of programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, including BSc degrees in Cell and Molecular Biology, Plant Biology, Zoology, Environmental Biology and Genetics, and MSc degrees in Plant Biology, Applied Environmental Science, Environmental Sustainability, Global Change and Biological & Biomolecular Science (by negotiated learning). We also make a significant contribution to the new BSc in Sustainability and deliver modules for the School of Agriculture and Food Science and the School of Health Sciences.
We are looking for a candidate who has a demonstrated passion for student engagement and teaching who will work with colleagues to deliver modules in our undergraduate and taught graduate degree programmes in the broad area of Environmental Biology & Sustainability and supervise undergraduate and taught graduate research projects.
Salary range: €40,000 - €46,000 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
