Lancaster Medical School (LMS) seeks to appoint a Funding Manager to oversee the relationship between the Medical School and NHS-England Workforce, Training and Education (NHS-E WTE).
You will manage a large number of complex payment transfers between Lancaster Medical School and a wide range of healthcare partners in which medical student placements take place. You will work closely with the Head of Lancaster Medical School, the School Manager, and other colleagues, to ensure an excellent experience for all students enrolled on programmes of study delivered by LMS, and all partner organizations supporting medical education delivered by Lancaster Medical School. You will be a member of the LMS Senior Leadership Team and will work with senior colleagues in LMS and across the Faculty and wider institution, and, in partner organizations to progress the objectives of Lancaster Medical School. You will deliver an excellent service showing abilities to liaise with a wide range of internal and external colleagues and show great attention to detail in managing large placement payments.
As a member of the LMS senior Team you will play an active role in the on-going strategic development of Lancaster Medical School.
This is a 1 FTE indefinite role, which is available immediately.
