Hourly-Paid Tutor Position in British Sign Language level 1 and British sign language level 2 at Brunel University London for the Academic Year 2024-25

Brunel University London is seeking an hourly-paid tutor for British Sign Language (BSL) for the academic year 2024-25. The position involves teaching extra-curricular language courses.

Term Start: Week commencing Monday, 7th October 2024

Teaching Commitment: 4 hours per week, 20 weeks, 10 in term 1 and 10 in term 2

Delivery Mode: Preferably on-campus, but online delivery will be considered

Applicants must hold a teaching qualification and a first degree (or equivalent) in languages, linguistics or a related area. Candidates should have recent experience of teaching languages to adults, and experience of teaching in the HE sector is highly desirable.

Responsible to: Head of Modern Languages
