An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Taught Provision to support and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, and build a community of high-performing and highly motivated staff and students in the School of Education at Bath Spa University.

About the role

As Head of Taught Provision, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic development. You will collaborate with the Head of School to develop and implement priorities that drive innovation in our curriculum, teaching, and research. Your leadership will extend to fostering external partnerships, securing funding, and enhancing the student experience. You will also be responsible for managing and developing staff, ensuring the effective distribution of responsibilities, and maintaining high standards in teaching and research.

About you

You will be an enthusiastic and committed academic leader, who can use their thorough and contemporary knowledge of the subject discipline of Education and its associated field of research, as well as their excellent understanding of the higher education sector, to help shape and enhance the School of Education’s curriculum portfolio. In this role, you will need to respond quickly and effectively to change in the education landscape, and develop successful relationships within and outside the University with a diverse range of partners that will support and extend our curriculum offer.
