About the Department of Digital and Data Driven Marketing 

The Department of Digital and Data Driven Marketing brings together internationally renowned academics who undertake research into, and teach, a wide range of Digital and Data Driven Marketing -related topics. The Department is supported by the research centre: Centre for Marketing Research, where staff are actively engaged in cross-disciplinary research. The Department’s courses are consistently ranked high, amongst the top 10 in the UK (4th in the Guardian League Table 2022; Top 10 in Complete University Guide, 2023; Top 100 in QS World Rankings, 2023). Currently, comprising of 23 academics, the department’s teaching and research interests include digital marketing, sustainable innovations, marketing strategy, artificial intelligence, influencers, consumer behaviour, brand management, luxury marketing, entrepreneurship, and marketing analytics. The department members have published their research in top-tier journals including, the Journal of Retailing, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of World Business, AI and Society, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Business Research, and Industrial Marketing Management, among others. The department has a thriving undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio, which is built around the research strengths and focus of the department staff. 

About you 

As either a lecturer or teaching fellow, you will teach at an undergraduate and postgraduate level and act as a leader and ambassador for us across management and engagement activities. Whether developing your own teaching approaches, acting as supervisor to your students or contributing to the effective administration of our department, you will enjoy scope to innovate and make a significant impact. You will be involved in the school or departmental management and enterprise or other engagement activities. 

For those considering the lecturer roles, you will play a central role in furthering the research of the department. You will bring a strong professional reputation to the role and will demonstrate the ability to produce world-class research for publication in leading academic journals.
