Research Assistant

This post will be offered on either 1 full time (35 hours per week) or 2 part time (17.5 hours per week) basis, and has funding for up to 10 months.

The School of Computing Science is looking for a Research Assistant to contribute to a project named AI and IoT-enabled Sustainability Driven Recommender System for Carbon and Energy Footprint Monitoring (ECO-INSIGHT) working alongside the principal investigator and industrial partner. The project seeks to develop sustainable, user-friendly solutions for energy foot-prints monitoring on large-scale, enabling organisations to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and safety. These solutions will help track energy consumption, optimise space utilisation, and align these factors with the organisation's goals. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
