Lecturer in Forensic Psychology - Part Time (0.45FTE), 12 Months Fixed Term

We are looking to appoint a part-time Lecturer on a 12-month fixed term contract with experience of teaching Forensic Psychology.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will contribute to a thriving research culture in psychology at BCU. We particularly welcome candidates who have an interest or experience in experimental research in the field of memory, eyewitness memory and/or investigative interviewing.
• Applicants will have a demonstratable commitment to supporting students from a diverse background and be able to deliver innovative, effective and inspirational teaching and learning for students at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
• You will be committed to ensuring that our students are well supported and enjoy their experience with us.

Skills and Experience:

• Applicants should possess a first and higher degree (PhD or equivalent) in Psychology which satisfies the BPS requirements of graduate basis for Chartership (GBC).
• Candidates should be actively involved in research, knowledge transfer or professional practice.
