We are looking to recruit an Information Officers to join our MIS team. The role will involve processing and monitoring student date, course and associated data and assist in raising and maintaining the quality of the data in College’s information systems. Working together with the rest of the MIS team to ensure data integrity enabling timely and accurate data returns.

The day-to-day aspect of the job will ensure the smooth enrolment records, update, and maintain student records across all funding streams as directed including Apprentices and Work based/Work Placed learning. Ensuring these records contain all data that is required for ILR and funding returns and accurate valid and up-to-date, operating cycles of cleansing activities to support these actions.

You will ensure that any necessary documents required to support the data are complete, accurate and if required, attached to the student record. Supporting the Curriculum teams with Timetabling, and create and maintain registers, ensuring register marking protocols are being followed.

The successful person for this role will have proven excellent data administration skills, a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills.

To be considered for this role, candidates need to demonstrate they hold the following.

  • Good standard of education 5 GCSEs grade C or above or equivalent qualification or good experience
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Experience of working in Education, preferably in Further Education
  • Experience of working in a data focused environment, administration, or similar environment
  • Experience of working with data
  • Experience of using ProSolution or similar training provider information software
  • Experience of working independently with limited direction
  • Desirable to hold a Level 2 qualification relevant to the role e.g., NVQ Level 2 Business Administration
