Main duties and responsibilities
You will provide research support in a nationally funded project. Supporting the project lead to ensure that study milestones and deliverables are achieved according to quality standards and timelines. You will be involved in all aspects of the project from set up to delivery including contributing to project organisation, documentation, meetings, data collection, reporting and dissemination. You will play a key role in stakeholder mapping, planning and co-facilitating meetings and workshops with young people and adult stakeholders, supporting young people’s involvement in the project and associated evaluation.
Skills and experience
You must have demonstrable research experience at undergraduate level and experience of participation, youth work and/or public involvement with young people. As well as good written and oral communication skills, this post requires the ability to communicate with different individuals and audiences, including young people. The focus of the post is on working collaboratively with project partners and stakeholders in a real-world setting. You must be organised, responsible, capable of using your own initiative and working to tight deadlines with accuracy whilst dealing with conflicting priorities. You may be required to deal with sensitive material with strict confidentiality.
You must be prepared to travel to the University, north-east London and elsewhere to undertake your responsibilities.
Qualifications required
Educated with a minimum of a degree (or equivalent level 6 qualification) or proven relevant experience.
