UK NATIONAL HUB FOR ADVANCED LONG-ACTING THERAPEUTICS (HALo)
FIXED TERM FOR 2 YEARS
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Finance and Compliance Officer to join the management team of the newly funded UK National Hub for Advanced Long-acting Therapeutics (HALo). This new E.P.S.R.C research and partnership hub for health technologies is a partnership between the University of Liverpool, University of Nottingham, University of Manchester and Queen’s University Belfast and is a collaboration with hospital trusts and industry to create a foundation of new therapeutics across the UK.
Based at the University of Liverpool, you will have a broad range of responsibilities, reporting directly to the HALo Director and overseeing the financial and administrative administration aspects of the Hub to deliver against our operational targets through close working with the Leadership Team, academic leads and industrial partners.
The Finance and Compliance Officer will provide high quality, effective financial and administrative support across HALo. The ability to plan and prioritise workload, meet essential deadlines and proactively manage the responsibilities of the position is a prerequisite for anyone keen to apply. To perform this role, you will need to be highly numerate, have excellent interpersonal skills and be a confident communicator. You will be well organised with a strong desire to deliver excellent work. This role will make an impact by enabling the Hub to deliver against its overall vision.
A degree (or equivalent relevant financial qualification, senior administrative experience, or relevant professional qualification by experience) is required for this role.
