Wrexham University is a forward-thinking and student-focused institution that places great emphasis on its quality of learning and teaching and the student experience. We are a vibrant and diverse university located in Wrexham, North East Wales. Our strategic vision sets an ambitious agenda for our future success and growth, which focuses on the delivery of excellence in learning and teaching underpinned by research.
The university has a very successful FdSc Veterinary Nursing degree at our rural campus at Northop and is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer and experienced HE Programme Leader to continue the development and growth of this programme. The postholder needs to be an individual who is able to contribute to the provision of high quality teaching and research in Veterinary Nursing and needs to be a qualified RVN. There is scope for career development opportunities including a teaching qualification, leading to fellow status with Advance HE. While a doctoral qualification or working towards would be an advantage, a willingness to work towards is essential. The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post.
This is an exciting time to join the team at our Northop campus. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual with experience of programme leadership in Higher Education and delivery of Veterinary Nursing programmes.
