We invite you to join our section “Production, Transportation and Planning”, where you will have colleagues with a mix of research and industry experience. Our current team of researchers within Operations Management work with LEAN manufacturing, Quality Management, automation, technology-based improvements, Life Cycle Assessments, circular supply chains, and freight transportation.
You will complement this team with your expertise in Sustainable Operations Management. We are particularly interested in researching the intersections between our team members’ research areas, and the role of new technologies for creating sustainable operations and supply chains. You will contribute to the section’s research within the following areas:

Responsibilities and qualifications
Your overall focus will be to strengthen our teaching and research in the field. We expect you to take the lead in driving the academic agenda and delivering impact to society and our common future. To do so, you will:
You will be responsible for the teaching of courses in engineering and continuing education. DTU employs two working languages: Danish and English. You are expected to be fluent in at least one of these languages, and in time master both.
As formal qualification you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent). If you are applying for the associate professor position you should also have academic qualifications equivalent to those obtained by holding an assistant professorship, including documented didactic/pedagogic training.
