North Wales Business School is part of the Faculty for Social and Life Sciences. The Role
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer to programme lead the school’s Online programmes which are delivered via a carousel model, with multiple intakes per year. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading arrangements for programme staffing for all online modules, the management of module leaders, and the recruitment of additional lecturers as required. You will undertake the day-to-day leadership and management of the online programmes, ensuring there is continuity of teaching and assessment, quality assurance, enhancement, and successful engagement within student and academic processes. You will work closely with students, team members, and colleagues across the wider university to ensure a positive learning experience, and to foster a culture of inclusivity. Additionally, you will teach modules within your subject area, both online and on-campus. Experience of teaching and learning within the higher education business school sector would be an advantage.
Furthermore, you will demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching, learning and research, contributing to the school’s wider developments and areas of growth, fostering key relationships with industries and other partners and stakeholders.
The role is wide-ranging, and you will need to be a self-motivated individual who can work flexibly and to deadlines, both autonomously and as part of a team. You will have outstanding communication, organisation and time management skills, to ensure the online programmes run smoothly and efficiently, to meet programme and University targets.
This role requires a candidate who can communicate through the medium of Welsh.
This role is based at Wrexham campus.
