About the role
Enhancing crossover formation and gene introgression in barley’ is a 5-year project funded by the Leverhulme Trust, commencing from 1 November. The aim is to investigate crossover control during meiosis in barley as well introgressing useful traits from Hordeum bulbosum into elite varieties.
About you
We are looking for a post-doctoral researcher who possesses practical skills in molecular biology and experience with fluorescence microscopy. They must have obtained or submitted their PhD thesis by the start date. Evidence of research productivity (publications, presentations, abstracts etc) is desirable.
