The Senior Clinical Training Scholarship provides an outstanding opportunity to study for a postgraduate qualification. There are two positions available from January 2025. The Scholar will be trained in all aspects of small animal surgery, including soft tissue and orthopaedics. The training programme is approved by the European College of Veterinary Surgery.
The Scholar will be required to register for the ECVS Diploma in Small Animal Surgery. The training programme requires participation in the Department's clinical service, including the out-of-hours rota, in addition to small-group teaching of veterinary students.
Applicants must be a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Completion of an ECVS recognised internship and substantial experience in practice is required. Full details of the person specification for the Scholarship are supplied in the information pack.
