Do you want to play a key role in outreach at the University of Leeds? Can you work closely with schools to engage students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects to recruit the best students, irrespective of background?
The University of Leeds is one of the top 80 universities in the world. We have a truly global community, with more than 39,000 students from 170 different countries and over 9,000 staff of 100 different nationalities. Established in 1904, we have a strong tradition of academic excellence, reflected in first-class student education, along with world-leading research that has a real impact around the globe.
Working across the STEM outreach team, you will play a key role in the planning, preparation and delivery of outreach activities on and off campus as well as online. You will work with Faculty colleagues to provide engaging activities and events for young people and ensure they are effectively evaluated. You will use appropriate systems to record, track and report outreach activity and the engagement of participants. You will help maintain our website and use social media to engage with schools, colleges, young people, parents and other stakeholders.
Please note that due to Home Office visa requirements, this role is not suitable for first-time Skilled Worker visa applicants. Information on other visa options is available at: www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/work-visas
