About the Role
We currently have an opening for a Teaching Fellow who will teach, advise and facilitate the experiential learning of students in formal and informal teaching and learning sessions, using appropriate educational best practices to maximise learning and promote a positive student experience.
About You
The Teaching Fellow will focus in particular on delivering practical chemistry, providing synchronous and asynchronous teaching, supporting student activities and coordinating with colleagues.
The post holder will contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning through:
Candidates must have a PhD (or be writing up) in Chemistry or related field and/or relevant professional qualification and/or equivalent professional experience.
About the School
This post is within the Department of Chemistry in School of Physical and Chemical Sciences in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. The Department has an annual undergraduate intake of approximately 100 students studying degrees in the fields of chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry.
