We seek to appoint a Lecturer to cover a 9-month maternity leave who will provide expertise in Chemistry teaching in supporting our undergraduate Chemistry, Biochemistry and Natural Sciences degree programmes.
The position will involve laboratory and general teaching activities, including, but not limited to, the delivery of lectures, tutorials, workshops, and the setting and marking of examination papers, essays and project reports. The successful candidate will be strongly encouraged to develop new and innovative methods for the teaching of Chemistry and are expected to be able to teach across the broad range of core disciplines of chemistry to first- and second-year students as well as in some specialist areas to third- and fourth-year students. The appointee will also be encouraged to seek to publish educationally based papers in appropriate journals.

This role is part-time for up to 25.9 hours per week.
