Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Acting & Performance

We are looking for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer with a specialisation in teaching acting, voice, and movement to join our BA (Hons) Acting & Performance course at University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, Surrey.

We are looking for someone who can build upon and help expand our current teaching provision and our practice/research environment. We are seeking a talented individual from within the field of acting and performance, who is passionate about their specialist area, questioning and inventive in their approach to teaching and who would also enjoy working collaboratively to contribute to broader team-taught units. We are specifically looking for an individual who has the practical skills, knowledge and experience to work with our students to develop their ability in acting, voice and movement. This role will also include leading a year group.

It is expected that you will have experience of teaching at university level, or commensurate experience. We are looking for an innovative and inclusive approach to the teaching of acting and performance, and you should be able to demonstrate an awareness of contemporary critical issues in the field globally. You must evidence a commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and widening participation in teaching, research, and university life.
