About the Department:
The Technical Specialist team is one of many within Service Delivery and Infrastructure and plays a key role in the delivery of this roadmap, providing technical expertise and resource for many of the operational core change projects relating to AV and endpoint management as well as BAU development and support of those projects upon transition-to-live.
About the Role
This role will take a service-oriented approach to delivery technology services. They will have a strong focus upon continuous improvement and service development as well as a keen interest in learning the tech.
The role will be involved in the delivery of a wide range of technology services bridging traditional IT and AV skills and a chance to further any knowledge in enterprise networks.
This role will be involved in our endpoint management via Intune
If you have an interest in being part of a team focused upon the development and design of Audio Visual technology and services, recording studios, Intune end-point management and printing systems amongst other tech solutions, then this may be your next role.
The I&T Directorate at SOAS is looking for a Technical Specialist to be part of a team of six specialists to ; Manage and develop our Intune environment ensuring a secure and user-friendly experience, Design, implement and maintain our AV estate including project management of AV installations in collaboration with our Estates colleagues ,Manage and develop recording studios and other media services ,Manage our printing solution ensuring high levels of availability & Provide technical escalation from our service desk engaging in ‘shift left’ and problem management to empower front-line services to resolve issues.
This is an excellent development opportunity for someone with appropriate technology experience looking to be part of a high-performance team and high quality technical services. This role will require a high-level of onsite presence at our Bloomsbury campus.
