This exciting role will be required to work within Facilities Directorate and specifically provide marketing support for Great Food at Leeds (GFaL), the catering and retail service at the University of Leeds. GFaL operates the £7m University retail (11 cafes and Refectory) and business-to-business catering (delivered catering and fine dining) and this role is key to supporting the achievement of an exceptional experience and achieving high levels of loyal satisfied customers.
The role will lead on the production of a comprehensive marketing plan for all areas across Great Food at Leeds and seek to improve customer retention and the promotion of the GFaL loyalty scheme and app. In addition, the role contributes to the wider marketing programme for the service, evaluating the impact of activities undertaken and contributing to the general operation of the service and more widely the Facilities Directorate.
You will have experience working in marketing within a commercial customer focused environment, with experience of managing marketing campaigns that deliver tangible results. You will also have experience of working with loyalty schemes and in conducting comprehensive market research. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence others and develop effective working relationships.
This role is required for 35 hours each week and as part of this role, you may be required to work occasional weekends and/or during an evening to support with University Open Days and events.
